Last Friday the Central Florida Blood bank along with Fox News and 105.1 radio had a contest to see who could get more blood donated- 105.1 or Fox News. The loser of the event will have to chase live chickens at Orlando's Dixie Stampede this Friday the 21st. Chicken chasing is part of the show at Dixie Stampede, as is Ostrich riding and pig racing.
PLEASE write to the Central Florida Blood bank, Fox News, Mix 105.1 as well as the sponsors of this event and ask them politely to not be a part of this horrible event. No animal deserves to be chased , let alone chased in a loud arena atmosphere. Ask them to in the future choose animal free events,
contests, and promotions. Also write to Dolly Parton and ask her to please pull the animal shows from Dixie Stampede. Tell her you won't be visiting until she does.
